Why is Inflammation Painful?

The release of these mediators also causes the small blood vessels to widen so that more blood makes it to the damaged tissue. The increased flow of warm, red blood is what makes the area hot and red.

Certain food

Believe it or not, in addition to obvious poisons and/or toxins causing inflammation, many of the foods we eat that are supposed to nourish our bodies, cause inflammation, too. On the big “no-no” list are fried food, soda, red meat, refined carbs, and shortening, lard, and margarine.[3]

Inflammation… the Good and the Bad

Most of the time, inflammation is there to help… it facilitates healing of an injury or other tissue damage. But sometimes it gets a bit overzealous. There are two basic types of inflammation… acute (sudden, sharp, and/or brief) and chronic (lasts a long time, usually three months or longer).[4]

Acute inflammation is the body’s response to an injury or some other external attack. It is one of the ways the immune system protects and heals the body. When everything is working properly, acute inflammation does its job then goes away once it has completed its mission. Acute inflammation is essentially good inflammation.

Chronic, long-term inflammation may be initiated by an injury or it may not be… and can go on for years.

Chronic inflammation has been linked to heart disease, stroke, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes, and some forms of cancer. In fact, chronic inflammatory diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide.[5] In 2014, almost 60 percent of Americans had at least one chronic inflammatory condition. Many had more than one chronic condition.

Diseases known as chronic inflammatory diseases are autoimmune disorders in which the immune system becomes the enemy, causing inflammation and attacking healthy tissue. Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis are examples of such diseases. Some people suffer from chronic inflammatory diseases for the majority of a lifetime.

Chronic inflammation is definitely bad inflammation.

Reducing Inflammation, Swelling, and Pain with Silver

Silver is a valuable tool in destroying inflammatory agents like the bacteria, viruses, and yeast that attack the body and cause a multitude of symptoms and diseases.  

Silver takes the workload off the immune system, freeing it up to rebuild while promoting the healing and rebuilding benefits of immune cells. The obstacles that interfere with normal immune function can be reduced or removed by silver as it mobilizes and activates stem cells.

Effect on Body

An inflammatory response is sometimes seen around an open wound, with or without an infection. Apply structured silver gel to the affected area twice daily. If there’s an infection, drink two teaspoons of silver liquid twice day to help fight it off and reduce the inflammation.

In the throat

A sore throat is a common symptom of colds and flu. Sore throats will usually be red and inflamed.

Rinsing your mouth and gargling with one ounce of structured silver for six minutes several times a day will help destroy reduce the inflammation by destroying the pathogens that are causing it. Allow a little bit of the liquid to trickle down the back of your throat and swallow every 30 seconds. When you’re done, swallow what’s left of the silver liquid.

The sinuses and throat are connected so it’s important to spray structured silver into your nose as well. This will help get to the areas that are harder to reach.

Structured silver lozenges can be used as needed to reduce inflammation and soothe a sore throat. Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in your mouth. On The Ear

Earaches are a sign of inflammation in the ear canal. Use a dropper to put at least five drops of structured silver liquid in the ear while the ear is pointed up. (Most people will find it easiest to lie on their side.) Keep the ear tilted up for 12 minutes. This allows time for the silver liquid to get all the way down into the ear canal. Repeat this process in each ear every 12 hours until the inflammation is gone.

On the Eyes

Eyes can become red and sore (inflamed) due to allergies, a cold, or infection. Conjunctivitis, or “pink eye,” is an inflammation in the eyes (the suffix “-itis” means inflammation).

Use a dropper to put two or three drops of structured silver liquid directly into the eyes one to four times a day.

Combine Silver with an Anti-inflammatory Diet

Just like there are foods that cause inflammation, there are foods that help to reduce it.

Stay away from food containing:

  •         Sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Sodas, candy, and other sweet treats have some of the highest levels. But these are hidden in many processed foods… read the label the next time you pick up a box of crackers, salad dressing, ketchup, or barbecue sauce.
  •         Trans fats, also called partially hydrogenated oils. The process of hydrogenation converts liquid oils into solid or semi-solid fats. Fried foods and margarine are the most common places to find partially hydrogenated oils. They’re also found in processed foods like baked goods and in some peanut butter.
  • Although they were banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in June of 2018, anything containing trans fats that was made before the ban went into effect can still be sold. And if there’s less than a half a gram per serving, the nutritional label lists it as having zero grams… so small amounts can be slid in under the radar.
  •         Refined carbohydrates. Refined carbs have been processed to remove the beneficial fiber. Examples are bread, pasta, and sweets.
  •         Alcohol. Moderate consumption isn’t a problem for most people, but more than a drink or two a day can increase inflammation.
  •         Meat. Don’t worry, we’re not telling you to go vegetarian. But processed meat and red meat are the worst and limiting all meat consumption will be beneficial in reducing inflammation.
  • Eat (or drink) more foods containing antioxidants and Omega-3 fatty acids. Some of these are:
  •         Fruits… especially berries and tart cherries.
  •         Vegetables… especially green leafy veggies and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage.
  •         Water… clean, filtered water is good for just about everything.
  •         Fatty fish like salmon, sardines, and mackerel.
  •         Nuts and seeds… walnuts, flaxseeds, and chia seeds top the list.
  •         Other healthy fats like avocado and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.
  •         Turmeric, which should be combined with black pepper for best results.

About Structured Silver

Silver has been used to protect health for thousands of years. And it has appeared in many forms over the years. There was ionic silver consisting of charged particles (ions) that float around in a solution. Bought these and the honey and lemon ones, and like them both. I like the honey & lemon ones best, but plan on trying the other flavors as well and buying some for stocking stuffers. Good Silver Colloidal Product

Very good colloidal, usually a buyer of other brands. Very good, removed an eye stye in a day, and we good food poisoning that was bear serious enough to hospitalize, we took this over several days- began getting better day 1 from 1st dose. Will buy again!

Great for first aid and wrinkles

I have been using My Dr. Suggests gel, liquid and lozenges for a while now. This gel is wonderful for wounds and burns and is the very first and most important thing in my first aid kit. It is the best thing ever for insect bites, fever blisters sunburns but my favorite use is as a wrinkle treatment. Almost like magic it makes the lines disappear and firms the skin. Give it a try. these are the best throat lozenges Ive ever used. The ginger is strong and soothing and I feel like the silver did shorten the duration of my sore throat.

Very nice soap

Very nice soap. Lathers nicely, nice fragrance, but you can definitely tell there’s no added fragrance, which is great for me, since my skin usually rebels against most nasty additives. I had a problem with a rash on my leg that wasn’t getting better with any OTC treatment. I started using this & within a week there was definite improvement. Love it for my face as well, leaves skin soft & in less need of moisturizer.

Great Lotion!

Super moisturizing! My kids all have eczema and this lotion kept it at bay. We’ve been thrilled with the results. It’s not too thick, either. Absorbs beautifully.
